The Place

This is your place. Will you take care of it every day, or will you come back every six months for a big spring clean?
It's an atmospheric game, just be there and enjoy your house. Do some cleaning, take care of the plants while listening to the radio. If you want to journal there is one in the attic.

It's a first person game, use WQSD to move and your mouse for the camera.

This game was made during the 2025 A MAZE.game jam.
Theme was "ageing", so I had the idea of a game that ages, incarnated in a house in the final release. Does a place ages at the same speed if inhabited or if empty?

If you want a very little devlog, I've made a thread on the fediverse.
For this project my goal was to do a lot of Blender, in order to learn it. So the house and all its content is by me, I'm very happy of my progress on Blender :)
The sky shader is  "Stylized Sky" by gtibo.
The rest (trees, textures, sounds and musics) are CC0 assets.

In the download section there is a special version of the game for the showcase, the only difference is that the time is sped up so visitors will be able to experience the decay (or not) of the house during the four days of the festival.
