[Prototype] Multiverse Wandering
A downloadable prototype for Windows, macOS, and Linux
For the 7DFPS jam of 2025 I had this idea of a walking sim with portals leading to other universes. I find the idea cool because it's scalable, I had fun finding ideas for strange worlds.
I choose 7 of them for this prototype, all very unfinished, but will you find all the worlds? 👀
Ideally I would like to continue development by adding universes and polishing the one already presents. We will see if I find the time.
Version 0.1.1 is the one made for 7DFPS and necessitated exactly 24.5h of work (I had a chronometer) between the 8th to the 31th of the busy month of December 2025.
As said earlier it's a prototype, so it lacks optimization, final props and may have bugs 🐛
If you give it a try, I'd love to hear it in the comments or on mastodon!

There’s a sudden shift when I cross the portals, which is a bit weird to me. I found the atmosphere mysterious. My favourite worlds are the maze and the clock world.
Thank you for trying it \o/
A shift like a change in the lighting or a freeze? (or booth) But yes, it's on my list to make the transition smoother
By ‘shift’, I meant when I walk backwards through the portal (it may seem silly though =) ). The camera snaps since the portal doesn’t exist in the other world.
Ah I see!
